Our History
In response to an overwhelming request for additional guest rooms, the Berman's purchased a second property in Adamstown - the Amethyst Inn. This structure dates from 1830's with the most recent additions during the 1870's. Tom and Wanda are painstakingly restoring both the interior and exterior. They have chosen to clad the exterior of the Amethyst Inn in seven colors creating their second Victorian Painted Lady.
Architectural elements including gingerbread, wooden quoins (corner blocks), medallions, and detail features are highlighted in amethyst, gold, lavender, and forest green with a magnificent nine foot high intricately carved front door. |
